TRACY, Mary Catherine of West Carrollton passed away on 
March 18 as a result of stroke due to hypertension. Mary is 
survived by her parents, Louis and Estelle (Purdy) Tracy, brother, 
John Tracy, brother and sister-in-law, Guy and Karen (Ridgway) 
Tracy, sister and brother-in-law, Bridget Tracy and John 
Cloughessy, nephews, Brett and Andrew, nieces, Jacqueline and 
Kelli, and great niece, Aniyah Tracy James. Mary is also survived 
by her very special and loving friend, Jim Carey, special sister, 
Penni Tracy, special friend, Connie Dawes, co-workers, and 
numerous other friends including, but not limited to, her high school 
classmates and the Miamisburg "WOO! Gang". Mary was 
preceded in death by her infant brother, Michael, and uncles, Hon. 
Patrick Purdy and Hon. John "Jack" Tracy. Mary graduated from 
West Carrollton High School in 1981. She attended the University 
of Dayton and was a member of Lambda Lambda Lambda 
Sorority. Mary's career was as a Paralegal at Tracy and Tracy 
Attorneys at Law. She was an avid fan of the Fighting Irish of Notre 
Dame, the Cincinnati Bengals and a certain Welsh Corgi. A Mass 
and Christian Burial will be held at St. Henry's Catholic Church, 
6696 Springboro Pike, Miami Township, at 12:30 p.m. on 
Thursday, Fr. Lawrence Mierenfeld, Celebrant, Fr. Tom Shearer, 
Assistant. A private burial will follow. Arrangements by Sanner 
Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SICSA

Association (www.stroke.org)
