PAUL,Sean M. age 35, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, October 2 at 
Select Specialty Hospital. He was born on October 7, 1968 in Dayton. Ohio. Preceded 
in death by grandfather; Gerald Eugene Paul, grandparents; Isom (Helen) Hinkle, step-
father; William G. Brown, father-in-law; Lawrence Waddy. He was a faithful member and 
one of the founding directors of New Horizons Christian Fellowship where he served as 
an Elder beside Pastor Philip A. Green. Sean joined the Ohio Army National Guard in 
March of 1986. He served as a Major with the 73rd Troop Command. At the time of his 
death he had served 18 years with the Army National Guard. He received his BA from 
Ohio University in Communications in 1991 and his MBA from Ashland University in 2000. 
He was currently employed with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter as a Financial Advisor. Sean 
also served on the Board of Trustees at Huckleberry House. Survived by loving wife of ten 
years; Mia R. Paul, mother; Linda Paul Brown of Dayton, OH; father; Larry Hinkle of San 
Francisco, CA. grandmother; Etta Miller Paul of Dayton. OH, twin brother; Shane (Sylvia) 
Paul of Chalfont, PA, aunts and uncles; Sandy (Edward) Jenkins of Dayton, OH, Rebecca 
Emmanuel) Harvey of Dayton, OH, special cousin; Seth (Shancie) Jenkins of Columbus, a 
very special nephew: Shane Mark Paul II of Buffalo, NY, nephew and niece; Simeon Paul 
and Sydney Paul of Chalfont, PA. Survived by a host of other family members and many 
friends. Funeral service Friday, 11 AM at the First Church of God, 3480 Refugee Rd.; 
Columbus, OH 43232 (phone 614/338-8338). The family will receive friends at the church 
10 AM until the start of funeral service. Interment Evergreen Cemetery; West Carrollton,
