PIERCE, Joshua Duane "Josh, Bub" Age 43 of West Carrollton, passed away Friday, 
June 17, 2016 at his residence. He was born February 5, 1973 in Athens, Ohio the 
son of Duane Pierce and Carroll (Murry) Dalton. He is preceded in death by his 
maternal grandparents; Freddie and Maxine Murry and paternal grandparents; 
Vernon and Vesta Pierce. Joshua graduated from West Carrollton High School and 
Wright State University. Bub was passionate and kind. He enjoyed learning, 
tinkering with gadgets, and living life to the fullest. He loved the outdoors, 
animals, and music. Josh had big dreams and a big heart. Joshua was a loving 
father, son, and brother. He loved deeply and was deeply loved. He will be dearly 
missed by all who had the privilege to know him. Joshua is survived by his 
daughter, Maya Irene Gronquist -Pierce; parents, Duane (Marty) Pierce and Carroll 
Dalton; two sisters, Kerry Kana and Keely Pierce. He is also survived by numerous 
other family and friends. A Celebration of Joshua's life will be held at Fairhaven 
Church, Schwalm Chapel, on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 11:30 am. Family will 
receive friends on Wednesday from 10:30 am until time of service at the church.
