LONDON - Rachel Marie Sanders, 36, of New Carlisle, Ohio, died on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018. Born Jan. 22, 1982 in Kettering, she was a daughter of Thomas C. and Lela (Bright) Sanders. Rachel was a graduate of West Carrollton High School. Survivors include her children, Layla Bohanon and Matilda Helmers of West Carrollton, Wrightly Vannorsdall and Charles Vannorsdall of New Carlisle; parents, Thomas C. Sanders (Mark Duffy) of London and Lela (Bright) Sanders of Lakeland, Fla.; sisters, Megan Sanders of Lakeland, Fla. and Elizabeth Sanders (John Santaniello) of Riverview, Fla.; companion, Jeremy Vannorsdall father to Wrightly and Charles; longtime friend, Jesse Helmers father to Matilda and Layla; and many nieces and nephews.
