WAMPLER, Kevin D. Age 15, of Moraine, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2007 at Children's Hospital in Cincinnati. Kevin was born in Kettering, OH on September 6, 1991. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, James Wampler and Gene Furnas; his grandma, Nana and great-grandma, Marcy. He is survived by his parents, Dale & Robin (Furnas) Wampler; 1 sister, Hayley Wampler "The Rock"; grandmothers, Norma Wampler & Cheryl Furnas; aunts & uncles, Jim & Vicki, Jon & Julie, Mike, Jimmie, Suzie, Jody & John, Cindy & Debbie; great aunts & uncle Betty & Sam & Ruth; best friend, Mike; and other relatives, cousins & many friends; and his beloved dog & best friend, Penny. Kevin was a freshman at West Carrollton High School where he had planned to be a part of the Track Team. In the summer he worked at the Moraine Rec Center Fitness & Weight Room. He loved working out there and playing basketball with his friends. He also played basketball in the W.C.M.B.A. for the past 8 years. He loved Ohio State and the Green Bay Packers, especially Brett Favre & A.J. Hawk. He was a big fan of WWE and NASCAR. He was a former Boy Scout. Kevin loved every aspect and appreciated life. He always had a smile and was a true American who loved his country and his flag. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at the Miamisburg Church of Christ, 1146 Central Ave. Minister Mike Tuttle and Pastor Ray Kiser, officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 4-8 PM and on Wednesday 1 hour prior to the service.
