DAWSON-HUMMONS, Akaila Nicole Age 20 of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly on May 6, 2016. She was born in Dayton to Kenneth Dawson and Sherri Davis. She graduated in 2014 from West Carrollton High School. She worked for the Kettering Health Network as a CNA. She loved to swim and play chess in her free time. She was a kind and caring woman and will be greatly missed by all who loved her. Akaila was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, James R Dishman. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband, Clevon Hummons; mother and step-father, Sherri and Antwaun Davis; father, Kenneth (Crystal) Dawson; siblings, Alessa Arnold, Arrell Arnold, Allana Dawson, MiAmore Dawson, and Makenzie Dawson, and Dakota Banks; grandmothers, Anita Peyton, Lois Dawson, Benita Davis; great-grandmother, Sue Dishman; mother-in-law, April Hummons; uncles, Darren Hayden. David (Ramona) Dishman, Terry, Jermaine, and Eric; aunt, Kimberly; brothers-in-law, Darion and Davion Hummons; and other brothers-in-law; special nephew, Kylen; and many cousins, relatives, and friends. A visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home-Kettering Chapel on Thursday, May 12 from 5pm-8pm. A funeral service will take place Friday at 11am at the funeral home.
