GAULDIN, Janis R. age 91 of West Carrollton passed away 
Wednesday April 4, 2007. She was born October 6, 1915 in 
Miami County, the daughter of the late Gibbs & Ethel (Shewman) 
Rike. She was retired from West Carrollton City Schools and a 
member of Memorial United Methodist Church. Preceded in 
eath by her husband Carl R. in 1977 and a grandson Kip 
Gauldin. Survivors include 4 sons, Gary Gauldin & wife Barbara 
of Minnesota, Tom Gauldin & wife Joyce of Washington 
Courthouse, David Gauldin & wife Sue of W. Carrollton, Steve 
Gauldin & wife Pam of Dayton, her daughter Virginia Ruhcamp & 
husband Don of Miamisburg, 13 grandchildren, and 14 great 
grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 9, 
2007 at 11:00 A.M. from the SWART FUNERAL HOME, W. 
Carrollton. Rev. Andy Wagner officiating. Burial David's Cemetery. 
The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of 
service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions 
may be made to Memorial United Methodist Church, Heartland 
Hospice or the charity of the donors choice in her memory.
