SORENSON, Alice M. age 89 of Dayton, passed away, Tuesday, 
January 1, 2013. She was born April 19, 1923 in Amsterdam, Holland 
the daughter of the late Gerard & Marie (Bours) Eykenduyn. Mrs. 
Sorensen attended St. Henry Catholic Church, worked at CF Holiday 
School for 21 years, was a member of the Moraine Senior Citizens and 
Dutch Club. Preceded in death by her first husband Walter Stringfield 
and a son Walter Lee Stringfield. Survivors include her husband Lewis 
Sorenson, 2 daughters Jacqueline Hurley and husband Jack of VA, 
Lindy Johnson of Miami Township, her son Frank Stringfield of Franklin, 
7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 
on Monday, January 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Miami Valley Memory 
Gardens Chapel. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3:00 
p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West
