WILSON, Mable S. Age 88 of West Carrollton passed away Tuesday July 12, 
2016 at Hospice of Dayton. Mable was born in Thorn Hill, TN on August 16, 
1927 to the late Henry and Ella (Shockley) Scearce. Mable was a member of 
First Baptist Church of West Carrollton. She retired from the West 
Carrollton Board of Education as a cook at the Junior High. After her 
retirement she worked for fun part time at Woody's Mkt.. Mable was preceded 
in death by her parents, husband George Wilson in 1982, brothers and sisters 
Albert, Coy, Betty Jo, Dorsie, Roy and Ben. She is survived by her son Steve 
Wilson, daughter Cindy Wilson-Hendricks and husband Doug, 2 sisters Jean 
Farmer, Laura Riddle, granddaughter Lynnsey Hendricks- Hawes and husband 
Cameron, great-grandchild Casey Hawes and many nieces and nephews. Funeral 
services Friday July 15, 2016 at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church of West 
Carrollton, 705 So. Elm St. with Pastor Scott Wells officiating. Visitation
will be Friday at the church 1 hour prior to services (2-3 p.m.).
