Family-Placed Obituary


THOMPSON-PURVIS, Diane age 48, of Germantown, OH died suddenly on 
April 28, 2005. A dedicated teacher of children with learning disabilities in the 
West Carrollton High School system. She held a Masters degree from the University 
of Dayton. She was a very active member in the Assembly of God Church. She is 
survived by her beloved children Andrew, Sarah and Chelsea and was the step-mother 
of Jason, Jessica and Jackie. She was preceded in death by her father James Grefer. 
She will be missed terribly by her mother Pearl Petachi and step-father Dale Petachi, 
sisters Linda Ashley, Ellen Bachman and their spouses Mike Ashley and Eric Bachman, 
brothers Jim Grefer and John Grefer and their spouses Helena Grefer and Diane Grefer, 
step-brother Paul Petachi and Mellisa, numerous nephews & nieces and many good friends. 
Services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. in Kettering. 
Visitation 4-6 PM Sunday. Funeral service 11 AM Monday. Burial at Calvary Cemetery. 
Reception to follow at Miamisburg Assembly of God Church.
