BENNETT, Reverend Anna Dell Age 70 of Beavercreek, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2005 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Stanley Bennett in 1987, and her father James Edison Shoemaker. Anna is survived by her mother, Chrystal Shoemaker-Hurst of Beavercreek, one daughter, Kathryn Huelsman her husband Alan of Kettering, two sons, Eddie W. Bennett & his wife Diane of Fairborn, and James Lloyd Bennett of Kettering; 2 brothers, Velmer Ray Shoemaker & his wife Dixie of Beavercreek, and Edwin G. Shoemaker and his wife Frieda of Richmond, KY; 10 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Anna was a graduate of the University of Dayton. She held 2 Masters Degrees in Education from Wright State University. She was also a graduate of the Centerville Bible College , majoring in Theology and Biblical Studies. She retired from West Carrollton Schools where she was a Teacher. She started the Noah's Ark pre-school. Anna was a Minister in the Open Bible Churches Inc. She was a long time member of the Way of the Cross Church and taught courses at their college. She was a member of Ani–Tsa' Lagi Cherokee Nation as "Raven Child", and she was a marquis member of the Who's Who of the Midwest, American Women, and American Education. The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM, Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2005 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME –Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Ave., Dayton, OH 45420. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Wed., Nov. 9, 2005 at Wells Funeral Home, 375 West College Ave., Stanton, KY, 40380. The family will receive friends at Wells Funeral home from 1:30 PM until the time of service on Wednesday. Interment Stanton Cemetery. Published in the Dayton Daily News on 11/7/2005.
