CARSON, Patricia C. 75, of Kettering Ohio, more recently living in Raleigh, 
North Carolina, passed away on July 14, 2015. She was preceded in death by her 
parents Joe and Josephine Major, her sisters Linda Hughes and Marilyn Major, and 
her husband Richard Carson. Patricia is survived by her children Doug (Katrina) 
Carson, daughter Mary Beth Schell, and Joseph (Kandice) Carson, and 5 
grandchildren: Kristina, Patrick, Sarah, Anna, and Joey Pat was born in Decatur, 
IL on February 13, 1940. An accomplished pianist, lifelong musician, and 
passionate music educator she founded Kettering Theater Under the Stars and the 
Miami Valley Chorale and the Miami Valley Symphony. She taught music for many 
years, and was also a church musician. Pat was loved by all who knew her and will 
be deeply missed by her family, friends, caregivers, and former students. A 
Memorial Service will be held Saturday July 25, 2015 at 2pm at Church of the 
Cross UMC, 3121 Wilmington Pike, Dayton, OH 45429. If so led, please give in Pat
