CLARKE, Gladys H. Age 93, of Rochester, MN, formerly a 50-year resident of Kettering passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at Madonna Towers Nursing Facility in Rochester, MN. Gladys was born in Mount Vernon, New York. She was a past member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, where she was active in the bible study program and the annual Rummage Sale. She was graduate of Wright State University and was a teacher in the West Carrollton school system for over 20 years. Gladys was an active member at The Hithergreen Senior Center, Dayton Audubon Society and The Dayton Museum of Natural History. She loved to play bridge and was an avid birder. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; Leslie and Mabel Clark and her nephew, John Penney. She is survived by her 2 daughters and their husbands, Nancy (Ken) Quinter of Kettering and Mary (David) Newhouse of Cadillac, MI; 4 grandchildren; Sharon (Suzanne) Eisenhauer- Koga, Susan (Sean) Heron, Jane (Jim) Duncan and Daniel (Kathy) Eisenhauer; 8 great-grandchildren; Kira, Courtney, Conor, Caillin, Brandon, Cody, Kristen and Kelly; and her sister, Janet Camaish and her family of Warrenton, VA. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM- 11:00AM on Saturday, June 9th at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 33 W. Dixon, Oakwood with a memorial service immediately following at 11:00AM.
