GUNNOE, Judith Lynn Age 65, of Centerville, Ohio passed away at her home on November 13, 2014, surrounded by her close family. She was born in West Alexandria, Ohio on December 30, 1948 to the late Dr. Augustus and Joanne (Dargin) Ross II. On December 30, 1972, she married Gerald Eugene Gunnoe I and they enjoyed 42 years of marriage together. She was a member of Incarnation Church. Judy is survived by her husband and five children: Gerald (Amy) Gunnoe II, Joanna (Brian) Taylor, Andrew (Stacy) Gunnoe, Meredith (Andy) Smith and Justin (Jenni) Gunnoe; and her eight grandchildren: Savannah Gunnoe, Gerald Gunnoe III, Dargin Gunnoe, Ross Taylor, Sydney Taylor, Brianna Taylor, Katherine Gunnoe and Abigail Gunnoe. She is survived by her stepmother, Nancy Ross, sister, Jody and her three sons, and her brother, Augustus (Melissa) Ross III and his daughter. She is also survived by her aunt and uncle, Diane and Richard McCormick, and their daughter-in-law Susan McCormick and her two children. Judy was preceded in death by her beloved cousins, Brian and Matthew McCormick. Judy was a graduate of West Alexandria High School in 1966. She obtained her undergraduate and masters degree at Miami University of Oxford, Ohio. She did her student teaching at Dixie High School and went on to teach Home Economics at West Carrollton High School. In addition to managing her husband's law practice, Judy was a full-time mother to her five children and considered this her true calling in life. Judy was a devoted mother, caring wife and l oved her family with all her heart and soul. Judy, a passionate animal lover, cared for her numerous pets and developed a reputation as the go-to person for animals in need. She dedicated herself completely to her husband, five children and eight grandchildren. She was extremely proud of the fact that she was present for all eight of her grandchildren's births. Judy's heart had no bounds and was always there to help anyone in need. We were truly blessed to have her for 65 years.
